Souy Indigenous people had lived in Cambodia for a long long time ago. In the past, people lived by hunting animals and picking up the fruits from the forest and mountainous area. As the evidence, presently, all Souy people live near mountain area. Obversely, upto 2018, Souy indigenous people live in 5 villages. There are Kordountey, Tanil, Chumbok, Trank and Putra villages. They are all located in Ch-en commune, Oral District, Kampong speu province. It’s the place that is full of forest and mountains around the villages.
Based on the interview from uncle Heal Sen, the representative of Souy indigenous people in october 2018, said that Souy indigenous people in all five villages have 316 families and the total number of people are 1325. Below is the population statistic of villagers and villages.
ទីតាំងភូមិសាស្រ្ត និង ចំនួនប្រជាជន
ជនជាតិដើមភាគតិចសួយបានរស់នៅក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជាជាយូរលង់ណាស់មកហើយ ។ កាលពីអតីតកាលមនុស្សរស់នៅដោយពឹងលើការបរបាញ់សត្វនិងបេះផ្លែឈើ នៅតាមតំបន់ព្រៃភ្នំ ។ ហេតុនេះហើយ ទើបមកដល់ពេលបច្ចុបន្ននេះ មានប្រជាជនសួយរស់នៅជាច្រើនតាមតំបន់ព្រៃភ្នំ ។ ជាក់ស្តែង មកដល់ឆ្នាំ ២០១៨ នេះ ជនgជាតិដើមភាគតិចសួយ បានតាំងទីលំនៅចំនួន៥ ភូមិមានដូចជា ភូមិ កោដូនតី ភូមិ ទានិល ភូមិ ចំបក់ ភូមិ ត្រាង នឹងភូមិ ពុទ្រា ដែលស្ថិតនៅក្នុង ឃំុ ឆ្អិន ស្រុក ឪរ៉ាល់ ខេត្តកំពង់ស្ពឺ ដែលជាតំបន់សម្បូរទៅដោយព្រៃឈើ និង ភ្នំ ពាត់ជុំវិញភូមិរបស់ពួកគាត់ ។
តាមការសម្ភាសរបស់លោកពូ ហែលសែន ដែលជាអ្នកតំណាងឲ្យជនជាតិដើមភាគតិចសួយ កាលពីខែតុលាឆ្នាំ២០១៨ បានឲ្យដឹងថា ជនជាតិដើមភាគតិចសួយទាំង៥ភូមិមានចំនួន៣១៦គ្រួសារ ហើយដែលមានប្រជាជនសួយសរុបចំនួន១៣២៥នាក់ ។ ខាងក្រោមនេះជាស្ថិតិប្រជាជនតាមភូមិនីមយយៗ ។
